Dress itch

It’s time to make another dress. These two fabrics have been patiently waiting for the longest time, they’re a polyester blend which I don’t really like, but the pattern is cool enough to make up for it I think.

I’ve had enough of tight fitted waists for a while and will go back to the straight 60’s styleImage

But which? I came across these at a thrift store the other day so very likely one of them. ImageOr the classic from Burda 1/2001Image

  1. I’m a real fan of the classic A-line dress shape, so I would probably go for either the pattern in the yellow packet in the first picture, or the second picture. Looking forward to seeing the results whichever one you pick! X

  2. I just love the coffee/cupcake fabric!! And, I can’t believe you found such terrific patterns at the thrift store. I have found dozens at my local thrift shop, but there are only a few winners amongst them.

    • Well, this particular fabric is a curtain fabric I bought on sale once when I worked in a fabric store:) These days, most of the fabric I buy is from thrift stores, though
