Hello, is it me you’re looking for?

We spent the night before Midsummers Eve needle felting. It’s such a great technique, when my son was younger he said it was like drawing in 3D. I agree.

And I think wool may be may favorite material.

C is for collar

20160731_203226.jpgI was experimenting with crochet techniques, but how to use them? Maybe a collar, then all I’ll have to do is make a sweater to put them on.

Glow-in-the-dark hat

Here’s another of the christmas presents I made this year, this one’s crocheted with Järbo’s reflective wool yarn as well.

It’s the same hat in the two pictures, hard to believe, but true. It’ll light up when car lights or, as in this case, a photo flash shines on it.

I had originally thought to make sort of a cap, but the reciever turned it backwards, I changed the brim to a flat rectangle that hangs down in the back to keep the neck warm. He claims to be very happy with it.

My second face is finished.

Sleepless in Stockholm

This really is heavily addictive. I find myself hurrying home so I can do a few stitches and last night I sat up until 3 in the morning because I had to give a go to the hair.

I ended up using the “front” side as front. The back side was a bit more vague becaue the stitches were smaller, which is what attracted me at first but then I decided to go with visibility. For this time.

Not just any cushion

Isn’t this fabulous?

A neighbour gave me this. It’s a pin cushion made from a tin or a beer can.
